The Château de Chaumont, officially Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire, is a castle in Chaumont-sur-Loire that was founded in the 10th century by Odo I, Count of Blois. Following the Pierre d'Amboise rebellion against Louis XI, the castle was destroyed under the king's orders. The castle was rebuilt by Charles I d'Amboise in the 15th century and has been protected as a national heritage site ‘monument historique’ in France since 1840.

Acquired by Prince and Princess Henri-Amédée de Broglie in 1889, this late 16th-century masterpiece is displayed in the East Wing of the Council Chamber at Domaine du Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire.
