I found the castle beautiful and well maintained, I really enjoyed the outside and the park. I really liked the usability of the whole place, being able to walk around the park freely, being able to have a picnic while looking at the castle. I found everything well organized.

Diane's Garden is beautiful and the Medici Gallery was wonderful describing all aspects of the chateau's fascinating history. We biked from Vouvray and had a great visit. The creperie/sandwich shop was disappointing with extremely slow service, long line, and they ran out of several items at lunch. There also aren't any water fill stations on the grounds.
The castle is beautifully preserved and offers lots of interesting information. Buying the tickets just a few minutes before entry worked perfectly.

Everything, just a lot of people but that's normal

Amazing Chateau - such a shame no English subtitles on film! 😔
Impressive, well-preserved castle and surroundings and excellent services make the visit even more enjoyable. By buying our tickets in advance on Headout, we avoided the uncertainties of availability and waiting. A simple procedure that's well worth the effort.

Despite being busy they managed the visitors very well.?The chateau is amazing and well worth the cost of the entrance. Superb lunch/brunch in the orangery It was a memorable day.
In some castles minors need tickets and I had not had the opportunity to purchase them online. At the chenceanu they let in at set times, there is no such thing as free entry without a timetable, so you struggle to organize your day with misinformation

Very easy and quick to buy tickets online. During the visit, it would have been interesting to have signs on the ground for an easier and more intuitive route, as it is not so clear and we ended up not visiting everything. There should be longer visiting hours in the summer.

The ease of getting to the castle, the convenient and free parking, the really great castle. Plus the speed in getting in having already purchased tickets online

The castle is very impressive and in very good condition. Unfortunately the French. Gardens were closed due to a thunderstorm 2 days ago and the surrounding woods had very heavy storm damage. The ticketing worked perfectly. Thank you very much.

We loved it. Spent the whole day there. Only discovered that we could borrow an iPad with English info in the afternoon. The young lady in the morning told us that no such thing existed.
I knew very little about this wonderful Chateau and it's wonderful art and nature displays. My wife and I were recommended to visit after we had visited many of the other famous Chateaus and gardens. This was likely our favorite and would have liked to spend more time in the gardens exploring . Well done.
Beautiful castle - go early to beat the crowds.
Loved the castle and i always wanted to visit it
The Setting and Gardens are second to none
I bought my tickets online and went right through the crowds to get in early! Thanks.
