The castle is very impressive and in very good condition. Unfortunately the French. Gardens were closed due to a thunderstorm 2 days ago and the surrounding woods had very heavy storm damage. The ticketing worked perfectly. Thank you very much.

- Dogs are permitted inside the building but must be kept on a leash in the park.
- It is recommended that you carry a baby carrier or sling when traveling with children and infants rather than a pram or stroller since the terrain is uneven and there are many steps.
- If you are traveling with children between 7 and 12 years, don’t forget to get The Inventor’s Notebook for them from the ticket office. The notebook is available in French and English.
- Eight audio installations in the park recreate Leonardo’s thoughts in French, English, German, and Italian. For an immersive experience, listen to these installations when visiting the park.
- Since the tour of Château du Clos Lucé includes a visit to the park, it is a good idea to wear comfortable footwear during your visit.
- There are three different restaurants available on-site; do try them out when visiting the attraction.
- La Terrasse Renaissance: La Terrasse is a crêperie cum salad bar that serves refreshing salads and sweet and savory crepes. You can enjoy the delicious food at the restaurant while enjoying stunning views of the Château du Clos Lucé.
- La Table du Moulin: Located in front of the Mill, La Table du Moulin serves hot drinks, refreshments, and tea. You can choose from a selection of crispy salads, delicious desserts, and yummy paninis.
